Jose Luis Tolentino has been a writer and editorial consultant for more than 20 years. His short stories and articles have
appeared in major publications in the Philippines, and in literary publications in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Much of his career, outside of short-story and feature-article writing, has been in the field of education. He is a former
managing editor of the CEAP Perspective (the national education magazine of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines),
editor of the De La Salle University Press, and consultant of the Center for Educational Measurement and AHEAD Learning Systems,
Inc. He has also written and edited for clients in Singapore and Hong Kong. For years now he has been responsible for the
preparation of annual reports, newsletters, brochures, books, papers, speeches, manuals, and marketing material such as ad
copy and sales letters, for his clients.
He is a business administration graduate of the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
